Food hypersensitivity in your dog can cause unpleasant issues. Do you recognize issues of itching, skin infections or ear pain? Or do you notice that there is flatulence, diarrhea or vomiting? This could be associated with a food hypersensitivity, which fortunately can be treated well with special diet foods.

How it works

Food hypersensitivity means that your dog reacts hypersensitively to certain ingredients in the food. It is important to avoid these ingredients. In that case, Vetality Hypoallergenic offers a good alternative due to the highly reduced (hydrolysed) proteins from white fish and tapioca. Two ingredients that rarely trigger a hypersensitivity reaction. Easily digestible ingredients ensure optimal digestion and good intestinal flora. Omega-3 fatty acids also contribute to healthy skin by nourishing and protecting it.

Properties

Nutritional advice

Well-balanced food helps your dog to stay fit and healthy. It’s great that there is food available that supports your dog if it suffers from a health condition. For example, some dogs are sensitive to certain proteins and/or grains, so a hypoallergenic diet is recommended. Vetality has been developed in collaboration with veterinarians to ensure that the needs of your pet are met as closely as possible. Please contact your vet if you suspect your pet has a health condition and are considering giving him or her food from Vetality.

Duration of use

Vetality Hypoallergenic dog food is initially given for 3 to 8 weeks. If the intolerance symptoms disappear, you can initially use this food for up to one year. It is recommended that you contact your veterinarian to extend the duration of use.
