Dog Thermometer

Having a clinical thermometer for dogs in the house is recommended for every dog owner, because dogs can also get a fever. However, their normal body temperature is higher than that of us humans.

The normal body temperature for dogs is between 37.5 and 39.0 °C.  From 40 °C one speaks of fever.

  • Frequent fever symptoms
  • Panting or breathing faster
  • Ruffled fur
  • Loss of appetite
  • Increased heart rate (higher than 100 in medium-sized dogs and higher than 120 in small dogs)
  • Vomit
  • Chills
  • Irregularly distributed skin temperature

With a clinical thermometer for dogs, you can quickly and accurately determine your dog’s body temperature. The rectal measurement is best suited for this. We would then like to recommend that you contact your veterinarian so that he can treat your four-legged friend well.
