Hoof Brushes & Picks

Before applying hoof care products, it’s important to remove dirt and sand from your horse’s hooves. The easiest way to do this is with a sturdy hoof brush or a hoof pick. A hoof pick is especially useful for cleaning around the frog, ensuring the hooves are properly prepared for treatment. By thoroughly cleaning the hooves, care products can be better absorbed for optimal effectiveness. In addition to cleaning before applying hoof care, it’s also recommended to brush or pick out your horse’s hooves both before and after riding.

Hoof Care

After brushing, it’s important to nourish and protect the hooves with a suitable hoof care product. Regular use of hoof creams, oils, and balms helps maintain strong and healthy hooves. At Vetsend, we offer a wide range of hoof care products, including:
