Product Description
Royal Canin Sensitivity Control
In the treatment of food hypersensitivity, your vet will prescribe your dog special diet foods. Royal Canin Sensitivity Control has been developed for the diagnosis and treatment of food hypersensitivity. This diet is also suitable as part of the treatment of other gastrointestinal disorders and skin conditions.
Recommended for:
- Food allergies (skin and/or digestion problems)
- Food intolerances
- Elimination diet (when a food allergy is suspected)
- Chronic enteritis (intestinal inflammation) all stages
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
Key features:
The protein source in Royal Canin Sensitivity Control is duck and dried cassava (tapioca) which are rarely used in dog food. The risk of an allergic reaction is therefore greatly reduced. A special combination of vitamins and zinc reduce water loss from the skin and improve its barrier function. Omega-3 fatty acids are naturally present in high concentrations in Blue Whiting. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA/DHA) help reduce skin reactions and contribute to the integrity (and better operation) of the gastrointestinal tract's mucous. The combination of fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and zeolite (a specific mineral) helps proper composition of the intestinal flora and protects intestinal mucous. The food is gluten-free.
Royal Canin Sensitivity Control is a complete, balanced and hypoallergenic diet, that can be given indefinitely.
In addition to the Royal Canin Sensitivity Control dry food, try the Royal Canin Sensitivity Control wet food.
Ingredients
Tapioca, dehydrated duck protein, hydrolysed poultry protein, vegetable fibres, animal fats, beet pulp, fish oil, soya oil, psyllium husk and seeds, minerals, fructooligosaccharides, Tagetes (African) extract (source of lutein).
