    PeeWee Wood Pellets

PeeWee wood pellets are made from the sawdust of the Swedish spruce, and are 100% biodegradable. These pellets are highly absorbent and have a fresh pine scent. These pellets do not contain any processed leaves or bark, and nothing is added during the production process.

The PeeWee wood pellets are formulated for use in combination with the PeeWee litter trays. Only a 2 cm layer is necessary, so a bag of 14 litres will last about 4 months!

    Use

    • First place a handful of cat litter in the bottom tray.
    • Then fill the bottom tray with a 2 cm layer of pellets.
    • Remove any excrement daily to keep the pellets clean.
    • Empty the bottom tray when it is almost full (about once per week), the more sawdust is in it, the better it will absorb any smells.
    • Do not use an abrasive sponge to clean the bottom tray, as they cause small scratches that can be a hotbed for bacteria.

PeeWee Wood Pellets reviews
  • Very good product

Best litter ever, it works so well with double tray pee wee box. No smell, wooden pellets just dissolves and foles into bottom tray that I lined up with plastic liner, easy to clean, doesn't stick to cats paws like grit once so is no mess in the house. Very happy.

  • Good but not brilliant

We got these to use with the PeeWee litter box and if we just use these pellets rather than mixing with a softer litter our kitten won’t use it. We think it’s because the pellets are a bit big and hard for his little feet. The idea is great though and it does absorb a lot of odour. Smells of fresh wood. I would definitely try for fully-grown cats.

Really cost effective when used with the mesh litter tray. Smells nice too.

I have never used pellets before and was unsure if my 2 Maine coons would adapt from clay litter to the pellets. I did a gradual change mixing both litters over a 2 week period. The cats were wary at first but both now use without any problems. What a difference. The trailing is now minimal and the few scattered pellets just get thrown back in the box. The piddles go straight into the lower box which I line with a puppy pad. I just gather up the 4 corners to dispose of the sawdust and give the tray a quick wipe. The pellets break down as soon as they get wet. My cats like to bury their phoo but this is a bit harder for them with the pellets. It is easy enough to scoop out used phoo as it is easier to see. You will certainly save a fortune as you do not use nearly as much litter which is a great benefit. The smell reduction is also great. I have only been using this system for a month and I am most impressed.
