Dr Ann's Anal Gland Support is a supplement for dogs to support the anal glands. If anal glands are not drained properly, they can become blocked and inflamed. The primary cause of this is too soft stools; this can be the case with diarrhoea.
How do you recognise problems with the anal glands?
You can tell there is a problem with the anal glands through several symptoms:
- Frequent "sledging": rubbing the ground with the anus
- Frequent licking at the anus or base of the tail
- A lump or wound around the anus
How does Dr Ann's Anal Gland Support work?
This supplement contains a combination of ingredients that optimally support the natural drainage of anal glands and prevents inflammation.
- Pumpkin seed powder is fibre-rich, ensuring proper intestinal passage and natural bowel movement. Healthy stools are essential for the natural drainage of anal glands.
- Apple pectin is also an insoluble fibre that ensures firm stools.
- Quercetin granulate is a natural antioxidant which helps prevent inflammatory reactions.
- Probiotics: the addition of healthy gut bacteria helps with healthy gut function.
- Boswellia serrata is a natural anti-inflammatory.
