Biofood Sheep Fat is a delicious supplement to your dog's daily food. Sheep fat with garlic

Garlic has a deterrent effect on parasites such as fleas, lice, ticks and mites. Garlic also covers up the lactid acid smell of a dog's skin, which is what fleas are attracted to. That's why sheep fat with garlic is effective against fleas and ticks! Some people are hesitant to give it to their dog because garlic and onions are often described as toxic. However, it's only toxic when you give 5 grams of fresh garlic per kilogram of body weight. This would mean that a dog weighing 20 kilograms would have to eat 32 cloves of garlic per day. That's pretty unrealistic! Fresh garlic can be toxic in these quantities, but the sheep garlic fat treats contain dried garlic. So there's nothing to worry about. It's totally safe to give your dog these sheep fat treats with garlic!

Dosage

Always start with half a minimum dose. Then maintain the dosage below:

• BF®Petfood Tripe, Garlic, Seaweed and Salmon 40 pieces: 1-4 bonbons per 20 kg per day.
• BF®Petfood Souplesse 40 pieces: 1-3 pralines per 10 kg (small dog) and per 20 kg (large dog) per day.
• BF®Petfood Garlic, Seaweed and Salmon 80 pcs Mini: 1-4 bonbons per 10 kg per day.

A nutritional recommendation is a guideline. Also take into account your dog's age, exercise, condition and performance.
