Product Description
Please note: the TROVET Dental Mini diet is no longer available. The regular Dental diet is now produced as smaller kibble, so you can use it for both large and small dogs. The ingredients and benefits of the food remains the same.
Key features
The elastic structure and fibres contained in TROVET Dental require teeth to penetrate deep into the chunks, breaking through biofilm on the teeth through abrasive chewing. Special minerals prevent the formation and adhesion of plaque and tartar on the teeth. Active antibacterial ingredients remove plaque-forming bacteria from the mouth, and nutraceuticals and active ingredients contribute to fresh breath.
Periodontal problems are one of the most common conditions in dogs. The main cause is the formation of dental plaque (a biofilm consisting of bacteria, proteins, food debris and dead cells). This leads, through gingivitis, to periodontitis and halitosis (bad breath). Preventing plaque is therefore critical for maintaining healthy teeth and fresh breath.
Advice
Transition gradually to TROVET Dental. Mix with normal food for a few days, slowly increasing the proportion of TROVET Dental. TROVET Dental is a complete food that can be given indefinitely.
