This Trixie Reptiland Vitamin/mineral complex for carnivorous reptiles contains calcium and vitamin D3. Reptiles cannot produce vitamin D3 on their own, therefore they may experience growth development problems if they are not provided with it. These substances have a supporting effect for long-term health.

Administration

It can be given to all carnivorous reptiles. The easiest administration is to mix it into the feed. If your reptile or amphibian is fed live or dead food animals sprinkle the food with the vitamin preparation beforehand. Or mix the preparation with water and inject it under the skin of the food animal with a syringe. In aquatic turtles, it should be kneaded through the feed or provided via sprinkled pieces of meat.

Usage

1 measuring spoon = about 1 gram per 200 grams of food added.
In healthy animals, the vitamin preparation should be given 1 - 2 times a week.
In sick animals, the preparation can be given in smaller doses 3 - 4 times a week.
Due to the higher content of vitamin D3 and trace elements compared to complete food, this mineral feed should be at most 20% of the daily portion of food.

Storage advice

The vitamin preparation should be stored in a cool, dry and dark place.
