Specific Kidney Support FKD is a special diet food for cats with kidney problems. This food contributes to the delay of kidney failure and can be given at all stages of chronic kidney failure. The Specific Kidney Support FKD contributes to the decrease of the strain on the kidneys.

• Contains a limited phosphorous content and lower protein content to damage or strain the kidneys as little as possible

Suitable for

• Cats with chronic kidney failure
• Cats with liver failure (except for those with cholestasis!)
• Cats with congestive heart failure, too-high blood pressure or fluid accumulation (oedema)
• Urate, oxalate or cystine stones in the urinary tract

Not suitable for

• Kittens
• Pregnant or lactating cats
• Cats with cholestasis: a low-fat diet is more suitable, such as Specific FXD Adult or Specific Weight Reduction
• Cats with urinary crystals (struviteurolithiasias)

Dosage

The recommended feeding length for the food is 6 months. Always provide enough water. It is recommended to gain information from your veterinarian before use.

Ingredients

corn, corn protein, pork fat, fish oil, egg powder, potato protein, con starch, cellulose powder, hydrolysed animal protein, beet pulp, minerals (including tripotassium citrate), vitamins and trace minerals (including chelated trace minerals), Antarctic krill, fish flower, taurine, psyllium husk, tryptophan, lysine, L-carnitine. Natural antioxidants (tocopherols, rosemary extract and vitamin C). Does not contain added artificial colour or flavour enhancers.
