The Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ is a specially formulated diet food to support the urinary tract for dogs with aging symptoms, aged 7 years and older. The dry food has been specially developed to dissolve urine crystals. A common cause of urinary tract problems is the formation of bladder stones, such as struvite. Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ supports your aging dog and helps reduce the formation of new bladder stones. The food provides increased fluid absorption, which in turn increases urine. This reduces the concentration of crystalline components in the urine, thus keeping the urinary tract healthy. By always offering enough water to your dog, he or she will empty any crystals.

Royal Canin Urinary S/O

Royal Canin has developed a method that makes it possible to determine the S/O Index of a food. The S/O Index is based on the acidity (pH) of the urine, the urine volume and the concentration of the different components in the urine that can form stones. Thanks to its low S/O Index, Royal Canin Urinary S/O can dissolve struvite stones and prevent both struvite and calcium oxalate stones.
