    Royal Canin Gastrointestinal High Fibre

Royal Canin Fibre Response Dog is a diet food enriched with specific dietary fibres such as Fructooligosaccharides (FOS), Mannan-Oligosaccharides (MOS) and psyllium. This product helps to restore the balance of intestinal flora. Fibre inhibits the growth of harmful, disease-causing bacteria, and supports the bowel function. In addition, dietary fibre promotes the epistasis of food through the intestines, and improves stool consistency. For animals suffering from constipation, a high fibre diet is often recommended.

    Recommended for:

    • Colitis, which is improved by high fibre in the diet.
    • Stress, diarrhoea
    • Acute and chronic constipation
    • Conditions for which a high fibre content is desired

    Key features:

The combination of highly digestible protein, rice, special dietary fibre and fish oil in Royal Canin Gastrointestinal High Fibre Dog encourages a balanced intestinal flora and increases digestibility. The fibre improves digestion, binding harmful substances in the large intestine and promoting the health of the large intestine by manipulating fatty acids in such a way that they nourish the mucous membrane of the colon. The Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA contribute to the health of the gastrointestinal tract. The specific combination of active anti-oxidants (vitamin C, vitamin E, taurine and lutein) work together to contribute to the neutralisation of free radicals.

    Use:

How long the diet should be given will depend on the severity of gastrointestinal symptoms. Always discuss this with your vet.

    Not suitable for:

Royal Canin Gastrointestinal High Fibre is not suitable for gastrointestinal disorders in which no passage of stool is possible, or where there is partial intestinal obstruction. The diet is not recommended for dogs with megacolon.
