Product Description
Royal Canin Anallergenic Small Dog
Royal Canin Anallergenic is a diet food especially for small dogs with food hypersensitivities, such as food allergy or food intolerance. Other hypoallergenic diets do not have the desired effect for these dogs. Royal Canin's Anallergenic line offers a solution for our small friends!
Features
- Contains special protein sources that are so greatly reduced (hydrolysed), so the chance of a reaction is very low.
- With specially selected protein and carbohydrate sources and a carefully controlled manufacturing process, this food helps reduce intolerances.
- Has a nourishing effect on the skin and helps strengthen barrier function.
- Adapted to the digestive and dental systems of small dogs.
Usage
Should you switch to Royal Canin Anallergenic Small Dog, do so gradually over a 7-day period. Feed for 3 to 8 weeks. Before use or before extending the duration of use, consult a vet.
Suitable for
Adult dogs of small breeds up to 10 kg with food intolerance.
Not suitable for
- Pups

Food hypersensitivity
Royal Canin goes further than other hypoallergenic diet foods. This food is produced on a special production line to minimise contamination. The dog's protein needs are met by free amino acids and very low molecular weight oligopeptides (95% < 1KDa). These are extracted via a special production process from feather protein, an exclusive and sustainable source of protein. It also reduces the risk of allergic reaction by using purified maize starch instead of whole grain. Furthermore, the food limits water loss through the epidermis and strengthens the barrier function so that the condition of the skin improves. Furthermore, Royal Canin anallergenic is packaged under controlled atmosphere to prevent oxidation phenomena. The test results obtained with this food are very convincing: 22 dogs that still showed symptoms despite hypoallergenic food were fed anallergenic for 4 weeks. All dogs showed an improvement in their symptoms when fed only Royal Canin anallergenic.
