Puur Urogeni for Cats & Dogs

Puur Urogeni has a regulatory effect on the urinary tract. By encouraging a good environment, Puur Blaas en Nieren (Bladder and Kidneys) can help dissolve small kidney stones and crystals, and improve renal function. In combination with Puur Cranberry , Puur Urogeni helps promote a healthy bladder. During renal impairment, Puur Urogeni may also be given in combination with Puur Kidney.

Dosage

With a plastic syringe or using treats, the product should be administered at least half an hour before or after feeding. If you find it difficult to administer this product, one dose per day or every other day will be sufficient at the maximum dosage for one day. The product will still be effective in this case but your pet may take a little bit longer to respond to it. 20 drops = 1 ml.

Duration

In case of acute complaints the treatment is relatively short, varying from 1 to 3 weeks. Continue giving the products for a few more days after complaints have disappeared. In case of persistent complaints the effect usually becomes visible after 1 to 3 weeks. You can switch to a maintenance dosage as soon as complaints have lessened. This is usually half the recommended dosage.

Altering dosage 

Keep a close eye on the effect the product has on your pet. A higher dose may be needed at first and, if so, it's safe to double the recommended dosage. Gradually lower the dosage to as low a dose as possible when complaints start lessening or have disappeared completely. In case of chronic complaints, this product may be given continually. When giving the product continually, implement a 7-day break every 6 to 8 weeks. After the break, you can re-offer the stimulus if needed. Immediately re-start treatment when complaints re-appear.
