Puur Stomac - Puur Maag

Puur Stomach consists of herbs and minerals for a healthy stomach. These herbs are known to have a protective and reinforcing effect on gastric mucous, which regulates gastric acid production. By reducing excessive acid production and regulating digestion, the horse will experience an improved appetite.

Dosage and application

Unless the veterinarian prescribes otherwise, the optimal dosage is 1-2x daily:

• Horse 1.5 scoop.
• Pony 1 scoop.

1 scoop contains approximately 4 grams.

If it is difficult to apply this product several times a day, once per day will be sufficient, or once every 2 days. In this case, give the maximum daily dosage. The product will still work, but it might take longer for the animal to respond to the treatment.

Administration

For optimal results of Puur Stomac it is best mix the herbs with horse feed. We advise slowly increasing the dose as the horse might not immediately accept a high dose in its food.

Treatment

In case of acute stomach problems the treatment duration is relatively short. This may vary from 2 to 4 weeks. After the symptoms disappear, continue to administer this product for a few more days.

The effect of treatment is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. After reduction of the symptoms, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. In the beginning, a higher dosage may be required, this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Reduce the dosage gradually to the lowest possible dose when the symptoms have reduced or disappeared.

This product can be given for long periods of time to treat chronic symptoms. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. The stimulus can be reintroduced after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if symptoms worsen.

Composition:

Composition per 4 grams: Chamomile, ginger, large angelica root, Hops, Milk Thistle, Dandelion, Peppermint Leaf, Iceland moss and Liquorice. 132 mg calcium (as carbonate) and 44.6 mg Magnesium (as citrate).
