    Medical Pet Shirt Boot

The Medical Pet Shirt Boot from MPS helps ensure that your pet's bandage remains dry when outside to protect wounds & injuries. The boot is water-resistant and comes with a slip resistant sole. The sole runs a little higher at the front and back of the boot, to ensure that the same protection is offered even if your dog is limping or dragging their paw. The wide opening means it can also be used on dogs with a cast or splint. The drawstrings at the top will help keep the boot in place and keep the bandage free from moisture. The Medical Pet Shirt Boot is available in seven different sizes!

    Key features

    • Water resistant bandage protection
    • Suitable for dogs with a cast or splint, thanks to the wide opening
    • Can be used for front and back paws
    • Added safety thanks to the slip resistant sole
    • Very easy to use

What if the Medical Pet Shirt Boot doesn't fit?

The Medical PetS Boot can be removed from the packaging and held up next to your pet in order to check whether it fits. For hygiene reasons, the boot cannot be returned if it has come into contact with your pet. If we find that the returned product is stained, worn, contains animal hair, smells or has been washed after use, we cannot return the product to you. In this event, it will be donated to a charity (local shelter). As we are often confronted with items that are returned in a less than new condition, we have to apply these rules for fitting and/or returning products.

Medical Pet Shirt Boot reviews

This is the third one I have purchased and it seems by far the best on the market. However it is not waterproof as advertised so I have to put a plastic bag inside to protect the splint on my dogs leg. The first one I purchased has now torn where the base joins the sock but am hoping that a tent patch will seal this. Overall however it does stay in place reasonably well with the 3 straps. I have tried several alternatives but as stated this is the BEST I have found. Better water proofing would be great.

  • Great
By Jill Goddard, Tuesday 28 May 2024

Purchased this item without much hope that it would be any good. It arrived and despite my recervations when it arrived it is REALLY good. I am delighted. Fits over my dogs plaster cast (just) and does up easily. Provided you put it on with the foot in correct place my dog can get around problem free and the cast inside stays dry. A bit too long so I will also order a shorter boot but this one is GREAT.

  • Not as good as long version
By Jill Goddard, Tuesday 28 May 2024

I already had the long boot but it was a bit too long so I ordered the short version expecting it to be the same. When it arrived I found the straps were shorter so I could not do the boot up. Had to return it. Staff were very helpful though couldn't tell me if the short straps were an error or standard on the short boot. Have ordered another long one though as they are good.
