The boot is easy to put on as it has a wide opening at the top, which can be closed using the drawstring to avoid moisture getting in from the top. The non-slip sole ensures your dog has plenty of grip when walking.
Medical Pet Shirt Boot has been specifically developed for use after diagnosis and under supervision of a veterinarian. Before you can purchase this product, please confirm the following:
Your pet has been examined by a veterinarian, who has recommend this product after diagnosis.
You understand and agree that you should seek the advice of your veterinarian regarding the use of this product at least every 6 months.
You understand and agree that if your pet's condition should deteriorate in any way, you should immediately seek the advice of your veterinarian.
The Medical Pet Shirt Boot from MPS helps ensure that your pet's bandage remains dry when outside to protect wounds & injuries. The boot is water-resistant and comes with a slip resistant sole. The sole runs a little higher at the front and back of the boot, to ensure that the same protection is offered even if your dog is limping or dragging their paw. The wide opening means it can also be used on dogs with a cast or splint. The drawstrings at the top will help keep the boot in place and keep the bandage free from moisture. The Medical Pet Shirt Boot is available in seven different sizes!

What if the Medical Pet Shirt Boot doesn't fit?
The Medical PetS Boot can be removed from the packaging and held up next to your pet in order to check whether it fits. For hygiene reasons, the boot cannot be returned if it has come into contact with your pet. If we find that the returned product is stained, worn, contains animal hair, smells or has been washed after use, we cannot return the product to you. In this event, it will be donated to a charity (local shelter). As we are often confronted with items that are returned in a less than new condition, we have to apply these rules for fitting and/or returning products.
Was required as an emergency to keep a dressing dry. Arrived about a week later and was way too big.
Product sizing is a confusing mix of cm and inches.

I should think this boot would have been great when our dog had her foot bandaged after tearing her dew claw, but by the time it arrived she still had to keep the foot dry outside, but the bandage had been taken off & the boot was much too big for her paw & leg & kept slipping round. We still had to use a sturdy plastic bag & elastic bands instead of the boot. Shame.
Poor Fitting Velcro

This boot is not remotely water resistant. The velcro strapping does not hold the boot firmly in place, the rubber toe part rides forward whichever way you try to prevent it happening. The design is flawed; it needs better stronger strapping. It is not water resistant this is misleading and mis-selling.

The foot part is completley waterproof, the leg part just water resistant.
My 14 year old dog has perminant ligament damage so has to wear a splint, if his foot gets wet it causes rubbing, preasure sores under the splint.
With this his foot stays completley dry even when running in long wet grass or in the woods.
It also fits well and stays in place

I took the measurements from the website but it was more to do with the leg on the boot which corresponded with my pets measurements , sadly when the boot arrived the foot part where the paw went was way too big twice as big as it needed to be and she just couldn't walk on it the boot was spinning round her ankle and not really fit for purpose such a shame
