Product Description
HomeGard InsectoSec Blood Lice Powder
Looking for a natural product to control bird mites or blood lice? Then Homegard's InsectoSec Blood Lice Powder is the right choice. This product consists of 100% natural ingredients: diatomaceous earth. This is a sediment consisting entirely or mostly of the skeletons of dead single-celled diatoms or diatoms in (sea) water. It acts as a kind of abrasive and extracts moisture from the insect so that it dies. Blood lice or officially bird mites are annoying insects for chickens and birds. They cause restlessness and anaemia.
Features
- Blood lice powder consisting of 100% natural ingredients
- With diatomaceous earth
- To control blood lice and bird mites
- For application in the environment/coop, such as nesting sites, cracks, seams and corners
- To be used as powder or to spray with water
Usage
The powder can be applied directly to surfaces, but you may also dilute it with water and then spray it. You apply it to nest sites, cracks, seams, corners and where animals rest a lot, without treating the animal itself. It can also be used to lay a barrier. The layer of powder should cover the whole spot and be easily visible. Insectosec leaves an effective white residue. If necessary, renew the layer of powder. Try to avoid draughts until the powder has settled. You may apply this product indefinitely.
