Hill's c/d - Urinary Care - Prescription Diet - Canine
Bladder stones can be painful and may reoccur in the dog after treatment. Hill's Prescription Diet Canine c/d reduces the risk of struvite or calcium phosphate crystals and stones in the urine recurring, and the high level of antioxidants helps to neutralise free radicals.
Also available in Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Urinary Care wet food.
Urinary tract problems in dogs
Urinary tract infections, associated with the formation of crystals and stones in the urinary tract, can lead to pain when urinating, blood in the urine and possible blockage. One type of crystal formed in the dog's urinary tract is struvite. Struvite is formed when the urine is saturated with magnesium, ammonium and phosphorus and has an alkaline pH. C/d helps to reduce the concentration of these building blocks of bladder stones.
