Product Description
Dogs have a natural urge to chew. They do this to keep their teeth clean, but chewing also releases endorphins, which create a sense of calm and relax your dog. Farm Food Antlers are a 100% natural sustainable and pure product, rich in minerals and without additives. They are a healthy way to keep your dog's teeth clean, strong and healthy.
Deer Antlers
Farm Food Antlers are pieces of deer antlers. They come from the male deer, falling off every spring after the mating season. The antlers used by Farm Food are collected from European forests. After they have been checked for quality, they are brushed and cut to size. Due to the natural nature of the product, the Antlers may have a slight odour, and although they are cut to size, they may differ in colour, weight, shape and thickness.
Chew Quality
Due to the tastiness and mild, natural fragrance, Farm Food Antlers are very appealing to dogs. They are sturdy and tough, providing your dog with a fun and natural activity, as well as a toothbrush, all in one. These antlers do not have any sharp edges, so you can let your dog chew without worrying! Each product has a minimum length of 15 cm, which makes it easy for your dog to hold onto. When chewing, the dog scrapes their teeth along the antlers, removing plaque. The outer coating of the antlers will gradually wear off, releasing tasty marrow inside. A nice reward for all that chewing!

Two choices of Antlers
Farm Food Antlers come in several varieties. Besides the regular antlers, Easy Antler is also available. Easy Antler is cut lengthways and is perfectly suited for smaller dogs or those not yet accustomed to chewing on deer antlers. The marrow in the Easy Antler is easier to reach, so the dog is quickly accustomed to the taste of the antlers.
`Why does one antler last longer than another?
In nature you find a lot of difference in the structure and density of deer antlers. This is mainly due to what the deer has eaten and its physical condition. All FarmFood antlers are a natural product and have a different density. The ratio between the marrow (the inside of the antler) and the bone (the outside of the antler) causes this difference in density. When your dog's antlers have a high content of marrow, it is more brittle and therefore easier to chew. Antlers with more bone are more difficult to chew. Do you feel that one antler lasts for a shorter time than another? This is probably because these antlers have a relatively large amount of marrow and a small amount of bone.
