    Dia Tab

Loose stools occur when the body is trying to get rid of foreign substances, such as toxins or bacteria. This can be caused by a virus or infection, eating or drinking dirt on the street and dirty puddles, stress or a change of food. Loose stools will often resolve on their own in a few days, but sometimes the condition lasts longer. Dia Tab supports your dog or cat when it suffers from loose stools or is recovering from these. These chew tablets have a 2.5 cm diameter and a 1 cm thickness.

How does Dia Tab for dogs and cats work?

The tablets contain a lot of pectins, which have a strong swelling capacity and a high water-binding capacity. As a result, these ingredients have a protective and soothing effect on the intestinal mucosa. This counteracts the loss of water by improving the formation of faeces.

    How do you use DiaTab?

You can administer the divisible chew tablets over food or directly into your pet's mouth. Please note: Please make sure that your pet always has access to plenty of water.

    How often is DiaTab used?

You give the tasty tablet twice a day to dogs and cats weighing less than 20 kg and three times a day to dogs weighing more than 20 kg. Make sure you give the correct dosage according to your pet's weight. The tablets are easy to divide and tasty, so they can be offered as a treat or mixed into the food. Make sure that your pet always has sufficient drinking water available.

How long can DiaTab be used?

DiaTab is intended for short-term use only. If diarrhea persists for more than 2-3 days or is accompanied by fever, blood in the stool or lethargy, always contact your own veterinarian. If you are looking for more intensive support and restoration of intestinal health for digestive problems, then a probiotic (such as Dr. Ann's Probiotics or Trovet Intestinal Support FBS) is more appropriate.

What is the difference between diarrhea inhibitors and a probiotic?

DiaTab chewable tablets are suitable for short-term diarrhea support and digestive regulation. These tablets contain natural ingredients that bind excess fluid in the intestine. The product is used for mild to moderate digestive problems such as diarrhea, for example due to change of food or mild stress. Probiotics are designed for more intensive support for prolonged diarrhea. These products contain pro- and prebiotics and specific minerals to support intestinal flora and can be administered long-term.
