Due to its active lifestyle, the Thai appreciates regular moments of rest.

Physical Characteristics

Colour

As a distant relative of the Siamese cat, the Thai shares some of its characteristics. It has a short, soft white coat with darker highlights, known as ‘point-gen’. The white fur of the Thai has a black-grey sheen. The muzzle, ears, legs, paws, and tail range from dark brown to black. A Thai always has bright blue eyes. The following colours are allowed in the Thai: all point colours, tabby point, tortie point, or torbie point.

The Thai has an elegant and slender body. It is supported by long, slim legs. The tail is long and thin.

Head, Ears, and Eyes

The Thai has a slender head with high cheekbones. A striking feature of the ears is their dark contrast against the white coat. The Thai’s eyes are oval-shaped.
